I just wanted to chime in here and note that I am having the same issue.
Intel 82579V on an Asus Sabertooth Z77 Motherboard.
I have tried every fix noted in this thread and elsewhere, but the problem still remains.
The network adapter needs to be disabled then enabled after Windows boots before it will connect. This is very inconvenient. I have tried all driver versions available for my motherboard, but the problem remains.
Please find a solution to this problem.
